Want to manage discounts and service charges with Tebi? Follow these steps to set up and apply happy hour deals, group fees, and more directly from your sales screen.

Step 1

Sign in as a Team Lead or higher, since only users with these permissions can apply discounts and service charges.Image

Step 2

Open the Tebi app and navigate to Menu > Products. Tap the three dots and choose Discounts.Image

Step 3

Tebi includes four default discounts you can rename or edit, but not delete. To add a new discount, tap the green plus icon.

Step 4

Enter a discount name and set the percentage, such as ‘Staff Discount’ or ‘Opening Sale.’ Enable the auto-apply toggle to automatically add the discount to every sale if needed.ImageHit Save when you’re done!

Step 5

For service charges, return to the same menu and pick Service Charges.ImageTap the green plus, then enter a name (like ‘Large Group Fee’) and a percentage. Use the toggle to auto-apply if you wish.Image

Step 6

Discounts and service charges in Tebi are always percentage-based, and you decide if they apply manually or automatically for each sale.

Step 7

To apply a discount or service charge to a sale, open the relevant order. Tap the customer name field or the three dots menu to access Apply Discount.ImageImagePick your desired discount or service charge—they’ll appear at the bottom of your order summary. To remove one, repeat these steps and deselect it.

Step 8

For product-level discounts or charges, tap a specific item in the sale, select the discount icon or three dots, and choose your desired discount or service charge. The applied selection will show beneath each product.

Step 9

To discount just one of several ordered items, tap the product, use the down arrow to set the quantity to ‘1 selected,’ then apply the discount.ImageTebi shows a split in the sale summary, highlighting which items received discounts.

Now you’re set to keep your sales moving with fast discounts and clear service charges. You can edit or remove them anytime using the same steps.
