Adding a Prep Station
In Tebi, any place in your establishment where orders are prepared, is called a Prep Station. Prep Stations can be accessed on a dedicated device, such as a small tablet in your kitchen or coffee corner, but it’s also possible to configure a printer to print prep order receipts.
To add a Prep Station:
- Go to the Tebi App
- Select Settings from the Menu (≡)
- Click Prep Stations
- To add a new prep station, go to the section Prep Stations, click Create new… and enter the name of your Prep Station
- Select the type of Prep Station, either display or printer:
- Display Prep Stations use a dedicated tablet to show prep orders digitally
- Printer Prep Stations print prep orders as they come in
- Select the ticket view
- In Gallery view, tickets fill the available space
- In columns view, each column shows one ticket
- To add courses, go to the section Courses, click Create new… and enter the name of the course (e.g. Starters)
- Hit Save, and your first Prep Station will be ready to go
To add products to a Prep Station:
- Go to the Tebi App
- Select Products and select a product
- Go to the section Preparation
- Select the Prep Station location. When a product is ordered, a ticket will be sent to that station.
