Archiving products

Change the product status

Archive a product you no longer want to use.

In the Backoffice:

  • Go to Products > Product List and select the product you wish to archive.
  • Change the status to Archived.
  • You can view archived products by selecting the Show Archived checkbox underneath the Search box in the Product List.

In the Tebi app:

  • Open the Menu (≡) and go to Products. Select the product you wish to archive.
  • When you turn off the Available toggle in the App, the product status will change to Not Available and the product will not be available for sale.

 

What not to do: reusing existing products to create new products

Do not use existing products to create a new product. Products that have been used in sales should be archived for bookkeeping purposes. If you override an existing product, the name will be changed in past and future reports.
